BONJOUR! My name is Carolyn and I'm a Scottish illustrator bumming about in Glasgow.  I used to live up a mountain but now I live in a box.  This is a space for my musings on settling back in the land of rain and drawings and scribbles and bits and pieces.

amber and chelsea

I've been meaning to write this post for a while now, but my heads been up my bum, as usual.  Amber and Chelsea is a new web comic by myself and The Amazing Coll Hamilton* that we're var var excited about, to teeth clenchy smile proportions.

The premise is simple, Amber is looking for Chelsea and Chelsea is looking for Amber.  The lovely folks at Forbidden Planet gave it a wee write up and sumed it up rather marvelously...

"Amber and Chelsea is a new online graphic novel from Carolyn Alexander and Coll Hamilton, one with an unusual quality to it: it tells its story of its two protagonists, the eponymous Amber and Chelsea, not just from two different perspectives, but through two complimentary strips, one from Amber’s point of view, one from Chelsea’s – one story, two perspectives.”

Around once a month we'll be taking turns to publish a new chapter online.  You can follow us on facebook and twitter to keep in the know about when each new strip is up.  Or to get in touch and let us know what you think.  Or even just to give us general abuse.** All that social networky jazz.  We're down wae it.  Yup.

*I'm going to just keep calling him that till it sticks and he's forced to legally change his first name to 'The Amazing'.

**Not too much abuse mind, we're sensetive souls.
